another of my "Day Lilies"....

My Day Lilies are just blooming themselves happy LOL...and I am so enjoying all of them..and I am looking for room to plant more LOL...

It is cool here today in Lexington....70 degrees and breezy....the boys say it is too cold to go swimming...so they are spending alot of their time on the trampoline and WI games....LOL...that is ok with me...keeps them happy ...

We have lived here in this house for a bit over twelve years....our neighbors to the right of us were an older couple...and their grandsons played with out grand children....but after a time they decided to downgrade...and moved into an apartment....no more yard work is what Bill said LOL...and we missed them....

The house was on the market for well over a year....ad finally it sold...we were anxious to see who was going tomove in....and Cam said..."I hope they have a boy my age!!!"....but that wasn't to be....a lady bought the house....and the evening of the day she was moving in...Amy and I went over to say hello and to ask if there was anything we could do to just let us know....the lady looked at us as if we had just crawled out from under a rock....no smile...no hello...no name exchange....her comment was to us that "if your boy and his dog comes into my yard again ....I will report him for trespassing....LOLOL....I covered my mouth with my hand...best way I know not to say something I shouldn't LOL....and Amy said...well ok...see you around!!!!! and we left...

Well after that we tried but didn't always succeed to make sure no balls went into the yard...and if they did...they stayed there (and she never returned any of them)....and the dog was penned up in the back yard whenever he was out....

About two weeks ago...we received a letter from a lawyer located in Louisville....I thought it was another political letter...almost didn't read it...but I did open it...and just about lost it ... LOL...I read the letter to hubby....it was stating that we would have to remove the fence between her property and ours because it was six inches over onto her property...now this fence has been up for ten years....our neighbor at the time even helped hubby to put it up...so we thought...lets check it out....we had a surveyor come by...and yes...a portion...four posts and three panels of fencing was over onto her property....we saw her out in the yard one day mowing....and we asked her if she really really wanted us to move the part of the fence that was on her property and she said yes she did....and we asked why??? LOL...and she said..."cause it is MY property and I want you off of it LOLOL...." hubby and I looked at one another....started laughing and walked away....LOLOL...the picture above is of the fence that is in question.....the front part is a picket....but starting at the small shed it is a five foot privacy fence....to the back of the lot....the picket and the part by the shed is the part on her property!!

As I said...we had a surveyor come by....it was marked....and we moved the posts....over onto our property...she says it still is on her property....I told her if she wanted anymore fencing moved she could do it herself or lump it...the fence is where it is staying.....she didn't like it...but that is her problem ... not mine....

Now I know we should probably have had the line surveyed before putting the fence up...but there was already a fence there....we took out the old fence...put the new right back where the other was...our neighbors at the time were ok with that...like I said before...he helped put the new fence up...!!!

Now I have "vented"....cannot understand the way she is...if she didn't want neighbors why move into a family oriented neighborhood...right across the street from a primary school even!!!! oh well....takes all kinds....and to be honest....we have traveled around the world a bit...and many places in the USA and she is a first for us....!!!!

and by the way...we have new neighbors on the other side of us....(the couple before got a divorce...sheesh) and the new neighbors are just so sweet and nice....have a boy a year younger than Cam...he is a happy camper....they do well together....he misses Brandon right now...B is in Pennsylvania with his grandparents for a while this summer....they have two of the biggest dogs....but they are good dogs....the complete oposite of the neighbor on the other side....well cannot win them all LOL...so will enjoy what we have....and go to Walmart and buy some more baseballs LOLOLOL....

thanks for listening....and letting me "vent".....tomorrow we are headed back to The Netherlands LOLOL....hugs to ya

Sounds like you got a goodie for NEIGHBOR. I think I will keep my alcoholic one. He almost sounds goof compared to her and that is really bad. Lucy

That woman must be bitter about something in her past.

Sorry about your neighbor! My brother has one like that also :0(

It does take all kinds for sure. Right now neither of my neighbors speak to us. They are there and we are here that is about it. Neighbors aren't like they used to be and I have a hard time being a good neighbor like I should be.

I love your control. But I don't think I could have given her the baseballs. LOL
We have been very fortunate, NEVER had anything like that. the Fence was the tops. WOW!
I know law had little to do with it. But in NC if she bought it with an encroachment it could stay. But one thorn is bad enough.
you are OKAY. the laugh was the best response.
Somebody licked the red off her candy, huh?
Sherry and jack & she has already been here! !

Wow, what a nut. I would paint her side of the fence black.

Ora,
I was thinking this neighbor lived on the other side of you. Do you have to move the shed also? I sure hope not.
